This park is located to the new Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center.  The proposed San Leandro Kaiser Medical Center is intended to serve as a replacement for the Kaiser Hayward Hospital, serving Kaiser Permanente's greater southern Alameda County area membership.
